Teacher Tuesday: Mrs. Saunders

You'll find her teaching our children how to read. That is her specialty. What an amazing talent she has! All of the ideas found on Pinterest (from the sand on the cookie sheet to magnet letters taped together) to help our children read, can be found in her real life office! Just pay her a visit and she'll share tips with you on how to help our children read. She's so sweet with the kids.

TEACHER SPOTLIGHT
I teach Reading Recovery @ CENTRAL ELEMENTARY
Mrs. Saunders

My name is Mrs. Saunders. On the weekend you’ll find me with my family. If I were a kid today I’d wear sweats. I’ve always loved little children which inspired me to become a teacher. I’ve been teaching for 21 yrs . . this is my 2nd at Central.

My favorite subject to teach is reading. I love spring . . flowers. Vacations are hard to come by so if I had a whole 2 weeks of pure vacation time I would travel. I am lucky today because I have a wonderful family.

B.T.W. I really wish I was a superhero who could fly.

My life motto is love everyone . . don’t judge . ..
